Terms of
Service
1. Who you are contracting with
By using sportrailfootball.com or enrolling in a Sportrail course, you are entering into an agreement with:
Sportrail Unipessoal LDA
Rua São Salvador da Baía, ED. AERLIS
2780-039 Oeiras, Portugal
VAT / NIPC: PT514144785
Contact: info@sportrailfootball.com
Sportrail Football is the trading name used by Sportrail Unipessoal LDA for its international coaching education activities. These terms apply to every visitor and every course participant, anywhere in the world.
2. What we offer
We sell access to live online coaching education courses and supplementary digital materials (recordings, PDF workbooks, certificates of completion). Each course page describes the format, schedule, instructor, price, and what is included.
Course content is intended for licensed adult coaches and football professionals. By enrolling you confirm you are at least 18 years old.
3. Pricing, currency, and merchant of record
Prices are displayed in US dollars on the course pages and may be converted to your local currency at checkout. Listed prices are exclusive of VAT, sales tax, or GST; any applicable tax is added by Stripe based on your billing address.
All course purchases are processed through Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe is the Merchant of Record for the transaction: Stripe is the legal seller for tax purposes, takes the payment from you, issues the receipt in its name, and collects and remits any VAT/sales tax/GST owed in your jurisdiction. Sportrail Unipessoal LDA is the underlying education provider that delivers the course you bought. Stripe's privacy notice and terms apply to the payment leg of the transaction.
4. Enrolment and access
- Your enrolment is confirmed once Stripe reports a successful payment and you land on the registration-confirmed page (and receive the corresponding email).
- We will send you the schedule, calendar invites, and a link to the live sessions before each cohort begins.
- Cohorts are capped at 40 coaches. If a cohort is full you may be offered the next available date or a full refund.
- Your enrolment is personal and non-transferable. You may not share session links, recordings, or workbooks with non-enrolled parties.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Our refund policy is set out in full at /refunds. In summary: we offer a 14-day refund window from the moment you enrol, regardless of where in the world you are. If you have already attended more than one live session or accessed more than 50% of the recorded material, you no longer qualify for a refund.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the 14-day window is your statutory right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU). For digital content that is immediately accessible, that right ends once you have started consuming the content and expressly consented to immediate access at checkout — but we honour the same 14-day calendar window as a courtesy.
6. Use of the website
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access course materials or admin areas without paying for them.
- Scrape, mirror, or republish any part of the site or course content.
- Use automated tools to submit forms, place orders, or generate fake traffic.
- Upload anything illegal, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights through the contact or inquiry forms.
We may suspend or revoke access (with refund if appropriate) if you breach these rules.
7. Intellectual property
All course materials, slides, recordings, frameworks, written content, and the Sportrail name and logo are owned by Sportrail Unipessoal LDA or its licensors and instructors. Buying a course gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the materials for your own continuing professional development. It does not give you the right to teach, distribute, resell, or build derivative products on top of the materials.
8. Disclaimers
Our courses are delivered in good faith by experienced practitioners, but they are educational content rather than guarantees of any professional outcome. Specifically:
- Completion of a Sportrail course does not confer a coaching licence or federation badge.
- We do not promise that any course will lead to a job, contract, or career advancement.
- We do not endorse and are not responsible for decisions you make in your own coaching practice based on what you learn.
The website and the courses are provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties; nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded under Portuguese or EU consumer protection law.
9. Limitation of liability
Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with these terms, the website, and any course you have purchased is limited to the amount you actually paid us (or, where Stripe is Merchant of Record, the amount Stripe transferred to us) for the course in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost income, lost contracts, or reputational damage.
None of this affects the mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Portugal. Any dispute will, in the first instance, be brought before the competent courts of Lisbon, Portugal. If you are a consumer based in another EU/EEA member state, you can also bring an action in the courts of your home country, as EU consumer law allows.
EU residents can also raise consumer disputes through the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We will always try to resolve issues by email at info@sportrailfootball.com first.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. If you have an active course enrolment when we update the terms, the version in effect on the date you enrolled will continue to apply to that purchase.
